User receives error viewing calendar "The folder you selected is not available"

Hello All,

I was recommended to come here by the folks at Office365 support. This is a continuation of my question asked here:

To summarize what is happening, here is our setup:

  • All users are using Office365
  • The error does not occur using the OWA, only on the Outlook 2013 Clients

Here is what we are doing that produces an error:

  1. User A Goes to Calendars inside Outlook
  2. User A right clicks the calendar he or she wishes to share and selects: Share -> E-mail Calendar 
  3. User A uses the GAL to select the user who should receive the shared Calendar and Sends the invite
  4. User B receives the email
  5. User B uses the Open this Calendar button within the email to attempt to view the Calendar.
  6. User B finds that the Calendar is available under the Calendar tab in Outlook, but if he clicks it he will receive the error: "The folder you selected is not available"

In the previous posts, we determined it was not a permission problem or an Office365 server-side problem. It is a client problem.
